Amil and Lucina (or Lucena)Egli arrived from California in 1880. Amil and his partner, Geroge Durand ran cattle on the UR Ranch - located on the eastern shore of Silver Lake. Egli Bench, north of Picture Rock was named for the family. She moved into Earl's house after Amil died in 1933.
Emil (a son) opened up Standard Station. He married Verna Prader ( a teacher).
They had 3 children:
Helen - married Walter Kittredge (son of William and Maude Linebaugh Kittredge)
Lucile
Amil Joseph
The house was sold to Earl Corum in 1945
Emil was a Co. Commissioner in the 30's and 40's
